Summary
Llys Glan Yr Afon contains 48 1 & 2 bedroom Extra-Care apartments including communal areas for Wales & West Housing. This development is unique as it is the first in Wales to cater for full adult demographic.
Project Information
The building is split into two blocks, each apartment within encompasses a kitchen/lounge area, wet room and bedroom. Units are centrally linked with a warden call system for easy access to care and assistance should it be required. The main building houses a communal lounge, commercial kitchen, hair salon, orangery cafe and gardens with a summer house to be enjoyed by residents.
“We are delighted to have worked in partnership with Anwyl Construction to bring extra care housing to Powys. Residents have happily settled in and are enjoying living in a well built, high quality, attractive facility in the heart of Newtown.”
