About

At Anwyl Partnerships, we work across a range of sectors including social housing, education, health care and commercial projects. However, no matter which sector we’re involved with, the buildings we create almost always require bespoke joinery services at some stage in their construction.

Specialist expertise

We have our own specialist joinery workshop that enables us to supply bespoke wooden features of the very highest quality to the timescales we require. Staffed by a team of skilled craftsmen, this workshop creates staircases, reception counters and other items, all using quality sustainable materials that look good and perform superbly.

Having this facility in-house gives us a huge advantage when it comes to working quickly, efficiently and to the highest standards. Whenever there are design changes to a project, our joinery team can react quickly to amend specifications and turn the job round without impacting on the overall timescale of the build. It means we are responsive and efficient, always maintaining a high level of quality control.

Investing for the future

Specialist joinery skills have been part of the Anwyl offering for many years, but our commitment to developing this aspect of our business never stands still. For example, we have recently made a £200,000 investment into the future of the joinery facility by installing a state-of-the-art CNC machine.

This machine allows us to create finely detailed, precisely controlled joinery features at greater speed than was previously possible while maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the process. Fast, accurate and flexible, this equipment not only increases output from the joinery workshop today, it also ensures that we are ready for future growth.

Putting people first

While capital investment in the workshop’s future is valuable, we believe it is equally important to invest in the future of our team. To this end, we always have at least one joinery apprentice in the workshop, a commitment that helps us give back to the community and pass on our expertise to the next generation.

Some apprentices ultimately become permanent members of the Anwyl team. There are currently two former apprentices on the full-time staff at the joinery workshop, with one of them being the workshop manager, four of our experienced site managers started with the business as apprentices, in addition to their commitment and hard work, this progression has been enabled by our dedication to their training and our strong belief of promotion from within. These examples illustrate our real commitment not just to finding the best future talent, but also to passing on our skills in order to provide quality employment opportunities for our local community.

All part of the service

As well as constructing bespoke joinery pieces, the workshop is also equipped to finish items to the highest standards, including painting prior to installation. A spray shop gives us the ability to apply paint quickly and efficiently, which in turn helps to ensure that construction teams are not left waiting for joinery items to be completed. As part of one seamless in-house process, our joinery workshop plays its part in giving our clients the high level of service they expect and deserve.
