Anwyl site team dig deep for Christmas care appeal

The site team at Harpers Green Retirement Living in Warrington are focusing their efforts on two local festive charitable initiatives.

Anwyl Partnerships staff have donated £200 worth of food hampers and gift sets with the addition of donations collected from site personnel and the projects’ supply chain members as part of an elderly loneliness campaign being led by housing group, Torus.

The Christmas gifts have been carefully packaged and beautifully presented in a hamper of luxury Christmas food, as well as a range of gifts from ethical luxury wash and lifestyle brand, the Goodwash Company.

Harpers Green is a particularly large scheme and our team have been on site for several months, during which time they’ve developed strong relationships with both our client, Tours and the local community. Becoming involved in these initiatives at Christmas was very much a site driven initiative, which we’re proud to have driven forward and support.

Commented Andy Adamson, Anwyl Partnerships’ Senior Site Manager at Harpers Green.

Harpers Green marks the largest extra care scheme delivered by Anwyl to date. Set across four-storeys, the 10,000 square metre site includes 97-one and two bedroom apartments, a central feature courtyard and a host of internal and external communal facilities including a bistro, hair salon and a community bowling green. The scheme is due for completion in May 2020.
