Two extra care schemes built by Anwyl Partnerships, in partnership with ClwydAlyn, have taken the top spot at the prestigious Welsh Housing Awards.

Hafan Cefni Extra Care Housing Scheme in Llangefni won the large new development category whilst Llys Raddington Extra Care Scheme in Flint won the Supported Active Living Category.

Hafan Cefni comprises 63 apartments offering varying levels of support, including 48 apartments for extra care and 15 apartments specifically designed and adapted for older people with memory loss or dementia.

Llys Raddington features 73 self-contained one and two-bedroom apartments, a restaurant and a sky lounge rooftop conservatory overlooking the town. The building also has communal facilities, a guest bedroom as well as additional assisted bathing rooms.

It’s fantastic to see two of our schemes, as well as our wider approach to building and development, recognised at these important industry awards. Our specialist work within the extra care sector is integral to our business and we have honed and developed a considerable degree of knowledge, experience and understanding of this specific area of the housing industry.

We are delighted to receive this fantastic award in recognition of the excellent level of care provided for older people living at Hafan Cefni and Llys Raddington.

At ClwydAlyn, we pride ourselves on our excellent standards, providing older people with the care they need, their independence and first-class facilities.
