‘Good Partnership’ with the Goodwash Co!

Anwyl Partnerships’ collaboration with Welsh Social Enterprise, the Goodwash Company, has realised a fantastic £1,000 charitable spend 12 months on.

The business opted to switch from a high street retailer at the end of 2018 to instead use the Goodwash co as its sole hand wash and lotion supplier. This first year of partnership as seen an annual spend of around £2,000, with all profits incurred being used to support two local charities.

The Goodwash Co specialises in the manufacturing and creation of luxury, natural skin care products underpinned by the ethos, ‘change the world, one wash at a time‘. Goodwash invest 100% of their profits into local projects which go towards improving the lives of those living in nearby communities.

Anwyl have opted for North Wales children’s hospice Ty Gobaith to receive 50% of the funding, whilst remaining funds have been projected into the Goodwash Foundation and used to support a local group for adults with learning difficulties, helping relaunch the weekly ‘Picasso club’ and football club.

We’re so pleased that we took the decision to switch to the Goodwash. One year on and we are able to really see the difference such a simple switch in something seemingly so minor in our business has made. This is a brilliant social enterprise that we are proud to support and we look forward to growing this partnership further, with some exciting ideas forming for the year ahead.

Thank you so much to Anwyl for their support, we very much look forward to building on the relationship further in 2020. The activities Anwyl are supporting really make so many people smile, their spends are making a massive difference.
