Contract: JCT 2009/D&B
Estimated Value: £2.8m
Completed: June 2018

The new Coed Onn affordable housing development consists of 23 units including 14 semi-detached houses, 2 semi-detached bungalows and 6 terraced properties and 1 special needs bungalow specifically adapted for wheelchair use and with other accessible facilities.

Project Information

The £2.8m social and affordable housing project is in partnership with Wales & West Housing and the homes provide a welcoming community environment within the local area. With environmental awareness becoming increasingly important, all of the homes also include ‘green’ features such as rainwater-harvesting, water butts and compost bins.

Deputy Chief Executive and Commercial Director for Wales & West Housing, Shayne Hembrow, said:

“There are a good mix of properties here with three bungalows included, one fully accessible with disabled facilities, and there’s a huge demand for them. We have a very long-standing partnership with Anwyl Construction. The quality of our housing is very important to us and Anwyl are always very good at meeting our expectations”
