Anwyl Partnerships has appointed Laura Jones, from Connah’s Quay, as their new ‘Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator’.
Laura will be responsible for all internal and external marketing, as well as acting as a liaison officer for all community engagement.
“I’m incredibly excited to take on this role. Anwyl Partnerships is a brilliant, family-run business and this appointment meets all my professional aspirations in terms of further expanding my knowledge on all elements of marketing and communications.
My primary objective will be to ensure that communication is maintained both internally and externally, using the right platform to deliver right the message. This will include everything from developing press releases and updating the company website, to engaging via our social media channels.”
“In terms of community engagement, I’ll work with the project teams and clients to establish a ‘community strategy’ with the wider aim of enhancing the communities in which we work. As part of my role, I’ll be responsible for helping to identify opportunities for job creation, apprenticeships and training, as well as supporting and contributing to good causes, including charities, local community groups and education settings.
In light of COVID-19, it’s going to be important to revisit what’s most important and beneficial to local communities. I’m hoping to find new ways to help those who need it most, whether that’s by helping people who’ve faced redundancy due to the pandemic or the local services and hospitality that have suffered due to closure throughout lockdown.”
Laura commented further.
Laura is passionate about writing and completed a BA Multimedia Journalism degree at university in Manchester. She has spent last four years — prior to joining Anwyl Partnerships — in a digital marketing role.
