Anwyl Partnerships on board with leading industry charity

Anwyl Group has announced its decision to team up with The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity as official charity supporter, in a move that demonstrates the firms ongoing support and commitment to the industry in which it operates.

As part of the business’ internal mental health and well-being campaign, each division within the Anwyl Group will be offering support through resources and donations. The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is part of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, making this new company commitment particularly important to Anwyl Partnerships as part of their ‘thoughtful building’ ethos. The charity is the only organisation that provides financial and emotional support to the construction community and their families who have suffered an injury, long term illness or simply need a helping hand.

I’m really pleased that we have aligned ourselves with an incredibly worthy charity that supports the very industry in which we operate. The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity do great things and offer invaluable support and we are currently exploring the many ways in which we can get involved.

– Tom Anwyl, Managing Director of Anwyl Partnerships and Director of health, safety & wellbeing for the Group

The charity receives no public funding and relies on the generosity of those within the industry to safeguard its continued operation. Astounding statistics show that there is still much work to be done to improve the safety and emotional well-being of the construction community, and it is through the support of members that the charity helps to promote change.

Support and services offered by the Lighthouse include emergency financial aid to construction families in crisis, advice on occupational health and mental wellbeing as well as support on legal, tax and debt management matters.
